Express Entry is the Government of Canada's application management system for three federal economic programs. Eligible candidates create a profile, receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, and may be invited to apply for permanent residence in periodic draws — including category-based draws such as French-language proficiency, healthcare, STEM and trades.

Who may qualify?
- Skilled workers with at least one year of continuous skilled work experience
- Applicants with Canadian skilled work experience (Canadian Experience Class)
- Qualified tradespeople meeting Federal Skilled Trades criteria
- Candidates with strong French-language ability targeting category-based draws
Eligibility requirements
- Meeting the minimum criteria of at least one Express Entry program
- Valid language test results meeting the program minimum
- Educational Credential Assessment for foreign education where required
- Proof of funds unless exempt
